Adire Legal Professional Corporation received the privacy mark from Japan Information and Processing Development (JIPDEC) on October 9, 2008.This firm is the third firm to receive this mark (As of October 24, 2008). The privacy mark issued by the JIPDEC means that a firm’s policy regarding receiving, storing, and transferring personal information is effective to prevent loss of personal information.

There has been a recent increase in the amount of personal fraud cases. There are not many firms that carefully consider about their system to collect and store personal data and are unable to receive the Privacy Mark. As of this firm’s creation (October, 2004), there has been an importance placed on protecting the personal information of clients, strengthening the system for collecting personal information and applying it. Because we handle over 2,000 adjustment cases per month; we need a system for correctly handling very large amounts of information. For this reason it is not enough to be able to adapt to the laws concerning the protection of personal information; it means a creating a high level compliance program on our own. Because of our dedication and hard work we received with the Privacy Mark.
